GETTING TO THE MYDRIPMARKET DASHBOARD

MyProspectorLITE includes your client communication tool, MyDripMarket™ that emails messages to your clients at your selected intervals, based on when the client subscribed to your drip marketing.

MyDripMarket messages can be in either Text or HTML and can include an attachment and images. You can also include your logo in the email messages if you have uploaded your logo through MyAccount.

MyDripMarket messages can be personalized according to the information you provided setting up your account in MyAccount.

You can get to the MyDripMarket Dashboard, the main navigation page for MyDripMarket, by clicking MyDripMarket in the top Main Menu or MyDripMarket as shown above, from the Main Dashboard menu (the Home page).

MYDRIPMARKET DASHBOARD

The image on the left shows the MyDripMarket Dashboard page. This is where you will tell MyProspectorLITE what you want to do. The options you have on this page are to view and send the scheduled campaigns, create a campaign, edit and test a campaign, or administrate your drip market client database.

For this Quick Guide, we will start out by creating a new campaign. We do this by clicking the "Go" button next to "Create a new drip marketing campaign" as shown above.

CREATING A DRIP MARKET CAMPAIGN

When you select "Create a new drip marketing campaign" from the MyDripMarket Dashboard, you are immediately brought to the Drip Market Create Campaign page.

This is where you will define your campaigns. MyProspectorLITE FREE users can define up to three campaigns. Premium users do not have a restriction on the number of campaigns they can create.

SCHEDULING THE CAMPAIGN

The first thing you will need to decide is when to run the campaign you are creating. Campaigns can be created to run the day a client is subscribed to your MyDripMarket or from 1 to 365 days (one year) after signup.

It is important to note that when your campaign will run for your clients is determined by each particular client's subscribed date. This means that your campaign is not just one of several campaigns in a sequence that are sent to everyone all at once.

One of the big advantages of MyDripMarket is that you can design your campaigns to be time driven instead of just a generic message. For successful campaigns you should design your messages around when they will be sent to your client.

In the example above we are going to create a campaign that will be sent the day after a client is subscribed. We do this by selecting "1 day after signup" from the drop down box as shown above.

DESCRIPTION

Next you will need to give this campaign a name that indicates the purpose of the campaign.

This description is not sent to your clients in the campaign, but it is used by MyProspectorLITE in listing your defined campaigns. You will select your defined campaigns based on the name you give the campaign here.

MyDripMarket allows you to select whether or not you want to include your logo on your campaign emails.

If you have not uploaded your logo through MyAccount yet, you should answer this as "No".

If you have uploaded your logo to MyProspectorLITE, then you can answer this as "Yes" if you want to include MyDripMarket to add your logo to the top of the email automatically.

Whether you plan on creating your campaign in HTML or are just creating a text-only campaign you can include your logo. If you plan on creating your campaign in HTML that already has your logo or other graphics, you can set "Include HTML Header" to "No" so your logo will not be added to the message.

CREATING THE BODY OF YOUR CAMPAIGN

The "Main Body of Email" is where you create the message your client will see when this campaign is sent. The Main Body can be in HTML format or just text. In either case you will need to end each paragraph with a "<br>" code (see example in the Main Body text box below). This <br> symbol represents pressing the "Enter" key on your keyboard in a text editor.

You can also include any valid HTML tags in the Main Body of your campaign. If you are using a separate program to create HTML that supports Windows "Cut & Paste", you can use the "Copy" command to copy the HTML code and then use the standard windows Paste commands (Alt-V) to paste the code into the Main Body box in MyDripMarket.

This is probably a good time to note that the MyProspectorLITE Support Department does not offer free HTML instruction. If you would like a campaign created for you, please contact MyProspectorLITE sales at info@myprospectorlite.com.

Also note that you are able to test your campaigns prior to sending them to customers. In the example above we entered a simple text followup message to our client thanking them for their interest in securing a mortgage. Remember, this campaign is being designed to be sent to clients the day after they are subscribed to the system.

SUBJECT

The email campaign will need a Subject for the message. The "Subject" box is where you enter what you would like the email subject to read.

We suggest that you avoid using all capital letters and avoid using words like "mortgage" or "free" in the email subject line. Many people are now using spam-blockers which keep messages from getting to recipients based on certain words and formats. You may want to recommend to your client that they add you to their Safe-Sender list if they are using spam blockers.

SIGNATURE

The signature is how your email message will end, usually with your name, title, and company information. MyDripMarket will create a default email signature for you based on the information you provided in MyAccount.

You can modify your signature any way you like. You can use HTML code in the signature box and will need to enter "<br>" wherever you want a new line (like hitting [Enter] on your keyboard).

If you do not want a signature, for example if your entire message is in the Main Body as HTML, delete the contents of the signature box and leave it blank.

DELETING A CAMPAIGN

Campaigns can't really be deleted, but they can be made "InActive". If you no longer want to send a certain campaign, change the "Campaign Type" to be an "InActive Campaign". This removes the campaign from being sent.

If you want to add a campaign at a later date, just edit the InActive Campaign with the changes you want for the new campaign and set the Campaign type to "Email Campaign" to reactivate it.

SAVING THE NEW CAMPAIGN

Now that all the information is entered to create the campaign, scroll to the bottom and click the "Create" button.

If you want to include attachment or need to upload images to go along with the campaign, you will need to do that after the campaign has been created. Once the campaign has been created, it can be viewed, edited, and have an attachment and images associated with it.

BUILDING HTML CAMPAIGNS

You can build professional looking HTML campaigns with MyDripMarket, even without knowing the HTML markup language.

MyDripMarket includes MyMessageBuilder™, a message building feature that allows you to create your campaign by just typing in text and selecting images. And MyDriparket saves your entries, so you can Preview and edit your campaigns anytime.

To begin building a campaign, click the "Launch MyMessageBuilder" button located under the Body or Email text box as shown on the left.

A new window will launch. This window is where you will create your HTML message.

Let's start from the top and work our way down. The first thing you can control is how wide to make your message. The default is 500 pixels. You can make your message any width you want, but we recommend you keep the width less than 750 pixels for easier reading in an email message.

You will notice that underneath the Message Width field there is a box with borders. This is a table and the layout is how your email message will be formatted. The first "row" in this box is your logo (our MMH logo is shown in this example). You can choose whether or not you want a logo row at the top of your message or not. You can also choose the location of the logo, either left, right, or in the center.

You will only see your logo if you have uploaded it through MyAccount. If you have not uploaded your logo, you will not see your logo here or in the message you send to your clients.

Enter the title of your email. What you enter for text here will be written in the message in the color you choose for "Title Text Color". The background of this row will be in whatever color you select for "Title Background Color".

You select the colors by clicking the color grid circled in the image to the left.

Simply click on the colored square you want to select. You can see the color you have the mouse over in the big square at the top.

Once you click a box, the color selection box goes away and you are returned to the MyMessageBuilder page.

The color you selected is returned to MyMessageuilder in hexadecimal format.

If you don't know what hexadecimal is, it doesn't matter. You don't need to know! (If you want to know you can click the link above)

Repeat the same color selection procedure for the background color.

The next row in MyMessageBuilder has two columns and allows you to add images, headers, and text.

You do NOT have to fill out each field! If you only want one picture for example, select the side where you want the picture and Upload the image there while leaving the other one blank. MyMessageBuilder will ignore any field you leave blank. In fact, lets say you don't want this two column row at all. Just leave everything blank!

For this guide we will go over filling out the left side. The right side works exactly the same way.

Uploading an Image is much easier with MyMessageBuilder. You do NOT need to manually add any HTML to your message. Just select the file, upload it, and click done. Just follow the 3 steps.

Click the "Upload Image" button and the window shown on the left will appear (the window has been resized for clarity). This window has the first two Steps in this process.

What you are going to do is first click the "Browse..." button and navigate to the file you want. If you are unfamiliar with how to navigate around your computer to select files, you can search for more information by clicking here.

Once you have selected the image file you want, go to Step 2 and click "Upload Image". There may be a delay when you click "Upload Image". Please do not close the window, the file is uploading to the server. You will be notified when the upload is complete.

When the image is done being uploaded, the window you see on the left will appear. It should say UPLOAD SUCCESSFUL. If it does not, a message will appear telling you what the problem was.

The most common errors are trying to upload files that are too large or a format that is not supported. Image files must be less than 500K and be either GIF, BMP, JPG or PNG format.

You can upload the same file more than once but be cautious of using the same filename as a previously uploaded file you may still want to use. Files with the same name overwrite the existing file.

Just click "Done" to complete the file upload. Your image is now ready to be used.

This is a good time to note that you do not need to upload a file gain if it has already been uploaded. You can simply type the name of the image file in the Image text box. Make sure you type the name correctly, MyDripMarket does not check to make sure your image exists and if it doesn't the message will be viewed with no image.

If you are unsure of the image file name, you can always upload the file again. This will ensure that the file name is correct.

Next, we may want a Heading to our paragraph. In this example our message is going to include an image of the LO with contact information underneath.

The Heading text will be bold, so we will put the LO Name, in this example "Your Name", as the Heading.

Now we will put in the text. Just type in the text how you want it to look in your message. MyMessageBuilder will take care of all the HTML later.

In this example we are putting the LO's contact information. So we just type it as we want to see it (WYSIWYG).

All we have left for this box is the text alignment. This tells MyMessageBuilder how to align the text for this box. Center will format all the text to be in the center. Left will push everything to the left with the right side of the text staggered. Right pushes everything to the right.

Justified will align stretch the text to both the left and the right so neither side is staggered. Where the text is not long enough to reach both sides, the text will be pushed to the left.

Now repeat everything for the right side. In our example we are only going to have "justified" aligned text with no image or heading.

If we had wanted an image and heading on this side, we would just follow the exact same steps that we did for the left side.

The next row is a full width row that should contain your main message. Of course you could just leave everything blank if you only wanted the two split rows we defined above.

In this example we are going to put a brief message that will be aligned as Justified. We simply type in the Heading, which will be in a bold text, followed by entering the message text in the Text box. We also selected "Justified" as the text Alignment.

We can also include a bottom closing caption that will be the same text and background as was selected for the Title box.

The bottom row is another logo row. You can choose to include this row or not include it. As with the top logo, you can also define where you want the logo located. You will see your logo as uploaded through MyAccount. If you have not uploaded your logo, you will not see your logo here or in the message you send to your clients.

Underneath the definition boxes there is an area labeled "Automatic Links". This is a very important feature of MyMessageBuilder.

Most likely you will want to include some links in your message to direct your customer to your website or so they can email you easily. MyMessageBuilder includes two automated website links and one automated email link. The way this works is that everytime MyMessageBuilder finds your "words" to be converted to a link, it automatically adds a link to those words. You don't have to do a thing other than type the words in your message.

The first website link is defaulted for you to be your website as defined in MyAccount. You can chage this default to anything you like. We just thought we would get you started!

The second website link is left blank. A common use for the second website link is to create a specific link for the words "Click Here". This would be to send a client to a specific area of your website that discusses the theme of your message. You will need to know the exact address of the webpage. We find the easiest way to do this is to open a web browser and navigate to the page. Copy the web address from the address bar in your browser and paste it into the appropriate link box.

The last, or third, line of this area is to create a link from an email address. We default this to be your email address as you entered it in MyProspectorLITE.com.

The next series of buttons finalize the MyMessageBuilder process. Once you complete all the previous steps click the "Generate HTML" first. This will take all the information you entered and create the HTML code for you. The resulting HTML code will be shown in the HTML box as shown above.

After generating the HTML code, we strongly recommend that you Preview the results by clicking the "Preview" button. This allows you to see what the message will look like and make any final adjustments before continuing. The Preview button launches a new window with your HTML message (see below).

When you are done with the Preview, click the link to close the window or just close the window as you normally close your windows. You should make your adjustments to your message and click Preview again until your message is exactly as you want it.

When everything is as you want it, click "Transfer to MyDripMarket". This will copy your message directly to the "Main Body of Email" box for you, as well as save your MyMessageBuilder entries. You can go back to MyMessageBuilder anytime to edit your message and make adjustments.

EDITING A CAMPAIGN

Your MyDripMarket campaigns can be edited from the MyDripMarket Dashboard. You will be able to make modifications, view the campaign, and test the campaign from this area.

If you want to add an attachment or upload images to go with the campaign, you will do those things from here also.

When you click "Go" for "Edit and Test..."from the MyDripMarket Dashboard page you will be brought to a page listing your Active and Inactive campaigns.

To edit a campaign, click the Description link of the campaign you want to edit as shown to the left.

MODIFY CAMPAIGN

Once you click the description link in the Edit Campaign list you are brought back to the Create Campaign page with all the information on that campaign in each of the fields.

You can make any changes you want to the text or selections to modify the campaign.

You also have two new buttons, "Attachment" and "Email Images". These buttons are to upload either an attachment or images that will be used by your campaign.

UPLOAD ATTACHMENT

MyDripMarket allows one attachment per campaign to be sent with a message. Click the "Attachment" button to launch the attachment selection window.

Click "Browse..." to navigate through your computer to find the file you would like to send out to your clients as an attachment with this campaign.

If you are unfamiliar with how to navigate around your computer to select files, you can search for more information by clicking here.

After you have selected the file you want to make an attachment, click the "Upload Attachment" button.

You will need to wait a few moments after clicking the Upload Attachment button for the file to upload to MyProspectorLITE.com. You will be notified when the upload is complete.

After uploading an attachment, the Upload Successful message will appear along the top as shown to the left.

DELETING AN ATTACHMENT

Once an Attachment has been uploaded the only option you have from the "Attachments" window is to delete an attachment.

Now, when editing a campaign and clicking the "Attachments" button you no longer have the "Browse.." or "Upload Attachment" buttons. They have been replaced with the current attachment name and a "Delete" button.

Click the "Delete" button to delete the attachment from the campaign, then close the window. Now you can upload a new attachment from the "Attachments" button on the Edit Campaign page or send the campaign without an attachment.

UPLOADING IMAGES

Uploading images to MyProspectorLITE is an Advanced feature of MyDripMarket. It is not the intent of this Quick Start Guide to teach HTML and IMG tags. This guide instead will provide a quick overview.

From the Edit Campaign page, click Email Images to open the Upload Image window. Use the "Browse.." button to locate the image you want to upload and use in your campaign. Once you select an image, click "Upload Image" to upload the image to MyProspectorLITE.com.

You can only upload JPG, GIF and BMP images to use in your campaigns, and the filesize must be less than 500K for each image.

The message shown above in the Upload Image dialog is very important and you will need to make a note of it. This is the line of code you will need to use in your HTML file for the image. There will be a different number where "0" is shown above and you will need to replace "filename" with the name of the image you uploaded.

Once you click the Upload button the file is uploaded to MyProspectorLITE.com and is ready to use. The window will change to the window you see above once the file has been uploaded. Use the Close Window button to close the window.

There is no Delete button to delete an image from your campaign. To remove an image from your campaign you simply edit it out of your HTML code.

TESTING YOUR CAMPAIGN

You should always test your campaign before sending it out to your clients. MyDripMarket includes a test feature that will email your campaign message only to your email address.

Testing a campaign lets you take a look at your message exactly as your clients will see it. If needed, you can edit the campaign so it goes out just as you want it to or, once you are satisfied that all is as it should be, leave it as an active campaign.

To test a campaign, click the "Go" button next to "Edit and Test your drip market campaigns".

You are brought to a page that lists all your Active and InActive campaigns. To Test your campaign, client the "Test" link next to the campaign you want to test.

Once you click the "Test" link the test campaign is emailed to your email address. You are notified in a message (see left) that the Test Email was sent and the email address it was sent to.

THE TEST MESSAGE

The test message is sent to your email address just as the client will receive it. In our example we included our logo (we used our own MyMortgageHost.com logo for this example) and a simple text message.

The email is CANN-SPAM compliant so it includes a link for the recipient to unsubscribe if they wish to as well as our identity and postal address per the CANN-SPAM guidelines.

And, the unsubscribe link is automated, so you don't have to worry about removing the unsubscribes from your list. We take care of that for you!

SUBSCRIBING CLIENTS

You clients must be subscribed to receive your MyDripMarket messages. You will need to edit your client from the MyClient area on MyProspectorLITE. The date you set to start the drip campaign is the date the scheduler starts at. For example, if your campaign is scheduled to run "3 days after signup", the campaign will be targeted to run 3 days after the "Start Drip Campaign on" date.

This means you can create your campaigns around when they will be sent to your client (like "Happy 6 Months Anniversary!") since each client will receive the message according to their own individual starting date.

To subscribe your client you will need to edit their record and set their "Drip Marketing Status" to Subscribed. Then you need to send the "Start Drip Campaign on" date. We've provided a "Today" button that will put today's date in the box automatically for you.

This is a good time to note that you can subscribe both the borrower and co-borrower separately, if there is a co-borrower on this client's record.

Once you have set the Drip Marketing status, make sure to "Save" the record. You can also go back and either restart a client in your drip marketing system or unsubscribe them by changing either the status or start date.

SENDING MYDRIPMARKET CAMPAIGNS

When you first log in to MyProspectorLITE, or visit the Home Page, you are notified right in the Dashboard (see left) when you have clients in your MyDripMarket campaigns to send.

When you see this message go to the MyDripMarket Dashboard to view today's currently scheduled campaigns.

VIEW AND SEND

From the MyDripMarket Dashboard click "Go" next to "View today's scheduled drip campaigns". You will both view your scheduled campaigns and send them from this area.

The page for viewing the currently scheduled drip campaigns will display all of the currently scheduled campaigns as well as a list of the email addresses that the campaign will be sent to.

In the example above we only have one campaign and one recipient. If there were more recipients and more campaigns. each would be shown with a button to send each campaign separately.

The drip market campaign is sent as soon as you click the "Send" button for the campaign. You are notified that the campaign was sent in a message and the button changes to read that that campaign was already sent.

When you go to the MyProspectorLITE Home Page after all your MyDripMarket Campaigns have been sent, the message that you have campaigns to send will no longer be displayed.
