October 9, 2006: AClient Software Systems, the developers
of MyProspectorLITE™, announced today that it has added loan
officer mortgage calculators in both the FREE and Premium versions
of it's web-based software application
for mortgage originators.
"We are well aware that when it comes to mortgage calculators
there are hundreds, if not thousands, available to consumers on the
web. However, nearly all of these calculators are designed for potential
borrowers looking to calculate a simple payment or create an amortization
table. They are not geared to the mortgage professional.", said
Eric J. Risley, CEO of AClient Software Systems, the developers of
MyProspectorLITE. "We
created our mortgage calculators specificallyfor the loan originator,
and made them easily accessible and independent of the rest of MyProspectorLITE
so calculations can be made quickly without the need for entering
any information about the customer."
"These calculators were developed so originators can answer potential
clients questions and compare loan options very easily. For the
calculators where appropriate, the originator can print out a quick
report or in the case of the payment calculator email the examples
directly to the customer.", added Mr. Risley.
As with most of the features in MyprospectorLITE,
AClient Software specifically added tools and features for the mortgage originator.
The MyProspectorLITE Payment Calculator allows up four examples using any of
the
supported
loan
types, including Option ARM and Temporary Buydowns, to
be
quickly
calculated. This is a great way to answer client's questions
and do quick payment comparisons if the customer isn't sure which loan program
will work the best for their situation. The Payment Calculator also allows loan
amounts to be calculated from the LTVs or the LTVs can be back-calculated from
the loan amounts.
All the mortgage calculators are included in
both the FREE and Premier versions of MyProspectorLITE including
the Payoff
Amount / Loan Balance Calculator which is used to estimate the
balances of existing mortgages. Of course, MyProspectorLITE also
includes an Amortization Table calculator that can create a printable
amortization schedule for each supported loan type.
Originators also often need to disclose the true
APR, so MyProspectorLITE includes a True APR calculator that takes
the points, loan APR costs, prepaid interest, and PMI into consideration
and calculates the true APR based on the provided information.
To round out the suite of loan originator mortgage
calculators is MyProspectorLITE's unique Loan Officer Pricing calculator
that allows originators to enter and store their common loan pricing
adjustments from their rate sheets, enter and save up to four current
rates and costs, then select the adjustments that apply to a particular
loan program and the adjusted rates points and profit margin will
be calculated for the entered rates. Of course the results can
be printed on a page including the loan amount, date, and selected
adjustments for the loan originator's records. And because everything
is stored to the originators database, to use the Loan Officer
Pricing calculator when rates change is easier, since only modification
to the current rates and price need to be made. The adjustments
only need to be changed if and when the investor changes them.
"Unlike in the past, information
on mortgages like monthly payments and loan costs have become much
easier for
your potential
clients to find. They are becoming used to it being only a phone
call, or in many cases a mouse click, away.",
says Eric Risley, "This is why we decided to create these
calculators and put them at the top of our system Dashboard so
originators that want access to these tools can find, and start
using them, quickly. This will give
all originators using our system even more tools to help them close
more
loans." According to Mr Risley one originator let us know
the day we released the calculators that he had already used the
Payment Calculator to help secure three loans with potential clients
that called inquiring about rates.
Concludes Mr. Risley, "Another great feature of MyProspectorLITE
is that many of these calculators are also integrated into the
Client
area
of
the
system,
so the calculations can be created and stored for individual
clients!"
The functionality of the mortgage calculators is identical for
MyProspectorLITE FREE and MyProspectorLITE Premium. Users can help
support MyProspectorLITE by upgrading to MyProspectorLITE™ Premium
for $200 per year or less for multiple year subscriptions.
